HS11: 1 Day Inspection of Fall Protective Equipment Course - On Site

Purpose of the course
This 1 day course is designed to provide 7 hours of classroom instruction with assessment to give delegates a good understanding of inspecting and managing personal fall protection equipment in accordance with the current legislation and in particular HSE INDG367 Inspecting fall arrest equipment made from webbing or rope and HSE INDG422 Thorough examination of lifting equipment.

On completion of the course, delegates should be able to assess, plan, prepare and carry out basic rigging and lifting operations in a safe manner to manually lift loads onto a structure.

Thorough Examination of Lifting Equipment (INDG422)

Registering and marking equipment
Quarantine & disposal of equipment
Multiple choice test paper

Practical
Practical inspection of various climbing equipment
Duration and Certification
One day (09:00-17:00)

Morsafe Limited E-certificate (valid for 3 years)
Course requirements and prerequisites
Delegates must have a good command of the English language

No practical climbing will take place during this course
