Description

Purpose of the course:

This course delivers 7 hours Accredited *CPD classroom and practical instruction with assessment. It offers delegates training to enable them to identify potential risks and hazards associated with accessing and working on masts, towers or similar structures (usually within the safety of the structure) using either temporary of permanently installed safety devices. Delegates will be able to consider the hierarchy of control measures when using personal work positioning, fall restraint and fall arrest systems.

On completion of the course, delegates should be able to identify what risks may be present whilst accessing masts, towers or similar structures and ensure suitable control measures are in place, including adequate emergency arrangements (HS07 – 1 Day Rescue & Recovery from Height Course) prior to any work being carried out.
