HS05: 3 Day MoD Skilled Climber Course - On Site
Purpose of the course
Purpose of the course:
This 3 day course is designed to provide 21 hours of classroom and practical instruction with assessment so that delegates understand the hierarchy of working at height controls and can identify potential risks and hazards associated with accessing and working on masts, towers or similar structures (Restricted High Places) either inside or outside the protected area whilst using either temporary or permanently installed safety devices.
On completion of the course, delegates should be able to identify what risks are present when accessing and working on masts, towers or similar structures, ensure suitable control measures are in place, select and use appropriate equipment and have adequate emergency arrangements in place prior to any work being carried out.

Morsafe Limited E-certificate Basic Climbing & Rescue (1 year)
Note: One day HS06 MoD Skilled Climber Revalidation course required every 12 months

Course requirements and prerequisites
Delegates must have a good command of the English language
Delegates will require confirmation of medical fitness or complete a self-certification statement
Delegates will require footwear and clothing to suit the course and weather conditions
Climbing equipment will be provided
