Course requirements and prerequisites
Morsafe Limited advocates the use of Controlled Descent Device Rescue Kit (IKAR) as they are quick and relatively easy to set up and use. Importantly it does not put the rescuer at any additional risk in most rescue situations. Training can be delivered on client’s specific rescue equipment on request.

Delegates must hold current climber certification or take this course in conjunction with a relevant climbing course.

Annual refresher training is recommended by the MATs Safety Group and the Advisory Committee for WaH Training.

Delegates must have a good command of the English language.
Delegates will require confirmation of medical fitness or complete self-certification.
Delegates will require footwear and clothing to suit the course and weather conditions.
General PPE will be provided.
Climbing equipment will be provided.

There are currently no training schedules for this course.
